As you all know by now, as we age cell reproduction slows down and our skin doesn’t generate collagen and hyaluronic acid as it once did. The older we are, the more difficult it is to boost cell renewal and collagen production, so we want ingredients in our skincare that will “wake up” our skin. One of the newest additions to the SENSAI skincare line is this serum called Prime Solution, which targets just these issues.
Prime Solution combined with Koishimaru Silk helps to awaken the skin, according to SENSAI. Koisimaru Silk EX optimizes the cell environment by adding hyaluronic acid production in both the dermal and epidermal cells, keeping the skin moisturized and supple. It also includes Sanzashi (Hawthorne) Extract, which can increase intercellular receptivity by more than 60%, says SENSAI. This makes cells more receptive which leads to improving the collagen and hyaluronic acid metabolism to make the skin appear more firmer and smoother.
I was sent a travel size sample to test. Normally I like to test something for at least 4 weeks to see the results as many skincare products actually take a minimum of 4 weeks to begin seeing results. However, after only a day or two the thing I noticed that changed significantly on my skin was how incredibly soft the skin on my face felt. It didn’t feel like it was heavily moisturized – as this is a serum, but some days I felt like I only needed a little moisturizer on top as my skin felt so incredibly soft and youthful. I was truly impressed!
This sells for $170, but it’s a 2.7 oz size – normally serums are in either a 1 oz or 1.7 oz size, so this is considerably larger.
